Exceptional Business – There is a lot to like about this outstanding motor vehicle dealer, located close to the former Jade Stadium.
Unlike many of their fellow businesses there is no sense of pressure from the excellent staff – just a genuine interest in how they may be off service to you. There is an impressive range of vehicles on offer. I was interested in a Volvo [not the easiest car to find] and within minutes I was off a personal test drive. Loved the car and the process that followed was smooth and flawless. The vehicle was serviced and a fresh WOF issued, following immediate attention to a couple of details. With the paperwork complete and insurance organised I took delivery a couple of days later. But what followed next was superb. I had a mechanical issue a few days after purchase and B&W immediately took the car back and got it fixed; it wasn’t a simple job [Volvos never are!] so they loaned me a car whilst the repairs were done. When fixed the car was delivered to me and the loan car taken away. Can’t beat that for service.

I purchased a 2009 Land Rover Discovery 3 from Black & White in November 2024. I’ve been driving it for over six months with zero issues and recently had it serviced. The mechanic mentioned it had clearly been well looked after — which lined up perfectly with what the team at Black & White told me before I saw it.

After placing a deposit, they had the vehicle checked at a specialist European garage and fixed a few minor things at their own cost.

However, what stood out in the end was the initial contact my daughter had with Paul on my behalf. When we came through, we also appreciated the professional friendly service you showed us and when it came to the numbers, meeting us part way to fall close to our budget. That mattered to us too. I have just purchased my fourth car from you and wanted to take a moment to thank you. As always, I received the service that has brought me to your yard three times in the past. I do not know how cars work, I just get in and hope they do — I have no idea what happens under the hood and am comfortable after all these years with the fact I am not a car guy. The team at B&W have learnt this over the years and take this into consideration when I am looking to upgrade my vehicles, and they speak slowly and answer my absurd questions with patience.

The finance team (Natalie) is also aware I am not great with numbers (I am smarter than this makes me sound!) and will take time to ensure I understand what is happening. I have been able to change my finance easily when required and this is always done quickly with (slowly spoken) explanations of how it works.

My point is that I will continue returning to B&W because I feel comfortable doing so. I am not overwhelmed with jargon and specs that mean nothing to me. The team have always worked with me to find exactly what I am looking for and my recent purchase was recommended as a possible fit for my needs — and they were right — a perfect fit for my family and budget.
